Calf Strain

A calf strain is an injury to the calf muscle which is located on the back of your leg below the knee and ankle. A strain typically occurs when the muscles have stretched too far, and sometimes small tears to the muscle may occur. The calf muscle contains up to 9 different muscles, and there are 3 levels of calf strains determined by grade of severity – Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3. If you have strained your calf, wearing a brace or compression sleeve can help reduce swelling and pain. We carry a wide variety of braces and supports for calf strains.
